Not huge news here going from #3 to #4, however this could be promising news that the supply of homes is becoming less dependent on bank owned/short sale homes and more ACTUAL/REAL sellers are coming back into the market.  With home prices back to levels seen in the early 2000's seller's are getting off the fence and realizing they might not get as much as they had hoped for their current home, however this is an incredible chance to buy their next home at a significant discount.

Another benefit to sellers right now is that potential buyers are tired of seeing dilapidated, bank-owned homes that need considerable work just to make the homes livable.  Many areas are seeing 10-15 offers on homes being sold by real people that may be more money but have been taken care of and are move-in ready.  Partly due to buyers being fed up with the extended wait times to close on a short sale and partly due to bank-owned properties where the seller has no knowledge of anything related to the house and the condition of working items.

Buying and/or selling it's a wonderful time if you are a ACTUAL PERSON!!
